Parish records of Reydon show William Flegg of Yoxford marrying Esther Silverstone by banns 12 Oct 1826 in the presence of John Flegg and Mary Glassy (entry 30)

His son's marriage cert. lists him as William, labourer of Leiston;

In "Chronicles of Theberton" by Henry Montagu Doughty (publ. Macmillan & co. 1910) the author mentions a reference to Yew Tree house in 1749, then says that 100 years later (1849) he was taken as a child to see it burning to the ground (page 178) It was only a cottage that belonged to Hall Farm (page189) (previously Common Farm).(See photocopy in folder)
