The Acton Parish registers show the birth of two Thomas Days in 1786/1787, impossible to tell which is the correct one. If one assumed his age at burial is correct he would have to have been the son of George and Sarah.:
Thomas Day baptised May 7 1786 son of George Day and Sarah Finch
Thomas Day Baptised May 8 1787 son of Thomas Day and Ann Jerman
Another Thomas Day son of Thomas and Ann was buried Mar 8 1785
www.sudbury-database says it is the Thomaas that is the son of Thomas Day and Ann Jerman
Information about the Garrison appears in Louise Kenyon’s book ‘Great Waldingfield, the Babergh Village’ which i borrowed from Sudbury library.
