This is the last will and testament of me David Jeremy of Trefinis in the parish of Abergwilly in the county of Carmarthen Farmer I will give devise and bequeath half the Rent of all that Dwelling house with its appurtenances called the Three Crowns situate in Upper Market Street in the county of Carmarthen unto my beloved wife Mary for and during the term of her natural life the other moiety of the Rent is to be received by my son John and from and after her decease I will give devise and bequeath the same house and premises unto my only son John Jeremy his heirs and assigns for ever, but in case my said son John shall happen to die without leaving issue by him lawfully begotten, then and in that case I will give devise and bequeath the same house and premises unto between and among my five daughters, Elizabeth the wife of Thomas Thomas of Llandilousus(?) Anne the wife of the Reverend David Davies of Tynewyd, Sarah the wife of Henry Davies of Kilhartley, Rachael the wife of Thomas Jeremy of Blaenige, and my daughter Elinor Jeremy who now lives with me, in equal shares and proportions.
And Whereas there is a sum of two hundred pounds due to me by mortgage secured on the lands of the Reverend James Sylvanus of Carmarthen, Now I do hereby will and direct that the Interest of the said sum of Two hundred pounds be paid by the Mortgager to my said beloved wife Mary for and during the term of her natural life by half yearly payments and from and after the decease of my said wife I will give and bequeath the principal money of Two Hundred Pounds so secured, unto between and among my said five daughters herein before named in Equal shares and proportions
I will give devise and bequeath all my stock and crop implements of husbandry household goods lease and chattels monies and securities for money (except as to the said mortgage among) that I shall die possessed of unto my said wife Mary and my said son John Jeremy who I do hereby appoint joint executors of this my last will and testament, and whom I hereby will and direct shall within six months after my decease will and truly pay or cause to be paid unto my said daughter Elinor the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds, between staffel, being willing and desirous that she should receive from my said Estate, between staffel and money. as much as her intermarried sisters had.
I further will give devise and bequeath Remainder of my real and personal estate goods and chattels of what kind and nature soever that I shall die possessed of or be entitled unto at that period I give devise and bequeath the same unto my said beloved wife Mary and my said only son John my executors herein before named and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former will and wills by me at any time hertofore made
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twentieth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six,

Mary Jeremy of Trefinis in the Parish of Abergwilly in the county of Carmarthen, widow, and John Jeremy of Trefinis aforesaid, in the parish of Abergwilly in the county of Carmarthen aforesaid, farmer, the two executors named in the will, were sworn in common form and they further made oaths that the personal estate and effects of the said Testator at the time of his decease in the Diocese of St Davids were under the value of four hundred pounds and that the said testator died in the month of December 1826 - before me James Griffith Surrogate
