In the Name of God Amen

I David Jeremy of Blaenygau in the Parish of Newchurch in the County of Carmarthen farmer being of a sound and perfect mind memory and understanding Thank be to God for the same do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following

That is to say

First
I give and bequeath unto my eldest daughter Mary Jones wife of John Jones of Pencanw in the parish of Conwil in Elvet the sum of twenty Pounds

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rachel Howells wife of Morris Howells of Pantioiar in the Parish of Abergwili in the aforesaid County the sum of twenty pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Rees wife of James Rees of Penygain in the Parish of Llanegwad in the aforesaid County the sum of Twenty Pounds.

Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Esther Jones wife of Richard Jones late of the Old Plough of the town of Carmarthen the sum of Forty pounds.

The above legacies or sums of money I will and order to be paid to the said respective legatees by my executor hereafter named within the space of six calendar months next ensuing my decease.

And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my goods, Chattels, Household furniture, Money and all Effects being of what kind or nature and quality whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be and not herein before given and disposed of after payment of my debts, legacies, funeral Expenses and the Expence of proving this my Will I do hereby give and bequeath the same unto my son Thomas Jeremy and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son Thomas Jeremy Sole Executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all and every other former wills by me made at any time before ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of December in the year of out Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty One

presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses hereunto

Thomas Jeremy of Blaenygau in the parish of Newchurch in the county of Carmarthen, farmer, the sole executor named in this will was sworn in common form, & further made oath that the personal estate & effects of the Testator David Jeremy at the time of his decease, in the Diocese of St David were under the value of two hundred pounds, & that the said testator died on the third day of December in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty one.
