The Bayly family in particular were interested in taking and printing photographs, and there is one photograph of my great grandfather Frederick James Bayly with his camera, probably about 1880. My father was still developing and printing his own black and white photographs in the 1950s, until he changed his camera and took 35mm colour slides.
