There is a large collection of letters from various members of the family to C.F. Haswell Bayly, covering the period from when he was a small boy to the early years of the 20th century. There are also a number of other letters to various members of the family. I have attempted to choose some of the more interesting ones, either because they refer to historical events, or because they reflect the lives of the people who wrote them.
