We visited Aunt Phyl as children. She had lived abroad-Africa? and was used to having servants. She made my mother some gloves, and when they were too small said that women's hands had got bigger because they had to do housework! She seemed very "grande dame". She gave my father a lot of information about the family, but much may be inaccurate.
